Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. The music she grew up with was classical, old boleros along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other theatrical performances. She began singing and learning music with her mother, she began her more intensive vocal training at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved into the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to Southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a local performer and instructor, her love of art and music has her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage other people to follow in her footsteps.
