Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress best known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She was first known for her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred alongside veteran actor Anil Koopor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle-class family, and began dancing in her early years. She started acting when a youngster and struggled for several years because many of her early film projects were unsuccessful. Then she found her feet and was one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. The actress took a hiatus from her profession after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. Recently, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize in India was awarded to Dixit. Also, she has earned a name for social activism.
